The adamfeldman.blog is divided into four categories. Three of these categories are spheres of Christian spirituality:
- COMMUNION - Posts in this category record moments of inspiration and struggles as I walk the pathway of faith in Jesus Christ. Links in this category reflect faith-thinking and faith-acting.
- COMMUNITY - Posts in this category consist of my musings on local and global community events with an interest in cultivating transformational culture. Links in this category are blogs that I frequent and that I believe are transforming culture.
- CO-MISSION - Posts in this category reflect the day-to-day experiences of starting Metanoia Church with an amazing group of people in addition to ideas related to living out purpose and mission. Links in this category refer you to church planting and other missional-thinking sites.
I find that a balance between these areas helps me live a healthy, purposed and full spiritual existence. Unfortunately, I don't always achieve this balance though I strive to. Hence, this blog reflects someone whose if very much "in progress."
The fourth category is a catch-all category reflecting my interests, etc.:
- COFFEE - Posts in this catch-all category reflect life events and my personal interests. Links in this category are to sites that I have an interest in.
From time to time I may include an additional special interest category. One such category is my "books" category, which includes reviews of books that I have read and that I think my readership might find interesting. It is my hope and desire that this blog will inspire you and challenge you to reflect on your own life experiences.

Wait a sec. I've read maybe, what, three minutes and I can already tell 1) you're a coffeeholic, and 2) you've given up coffee for lent? Whew ...
For three years straight I drank a 20oz Mountain Dew every morning. Somehow I fell out of the habit one summer, and when school started up again in August I decided to try to stick with it. It's been about 18 months since then and I'm still caffeine free (aside from chocolate, my perpetual weakness). It's great to feel like I don't have to jumpstart my brain with chemicals.
As a side note, I'm not a coffee drinker, but love hot chocolate. I wish there were Starbucks-style joints for hot chocolate lovers all over the place. I'd be a goner.

i would think that it would be difficult to figure out how to make hot chocolate "pay the rent" for such a place. then again, someone figured out how to make coffee pay the rent...

Yeah ... sadly, we hot chocolate lovers are a minority too small for corporate marketing.
